The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William MacKellar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

You think you have problems

Bill and I played lots of late hour hockey in the old Ice Box arena.

We didn't have many players that would come out at 11:00pm in the cold of winter to play in a colder arena. Those that came out had fun and shared their problems of the day before we went out on the ice.

One evening everbody was sharing their current day's problems and it finally reached the last person who was sitting beside me (it was not Bill). He made the statement "You think you got problems" and then he shared his personal problem that involve his Mother-in-law.

Hence, every day that Bill and I ran into each other we would say - "You think you have problems" knowing what problems our buddy had explained sitting on the bench.

This comment always made us smile and be thankful we did not have that problem even if our manufacturing facility was broke down. People always wondered what we laughed about but we never shared our buddy's secret. Even today I smile when I think I have problems that are miniscule to what outrfriend had shared.
