Earl Alder Piper Jr. “Blue”, 79, died on Sunday October 8, 2017. Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 10am until services at 11:30am. Burial will be at LA National Cemetery. Survived by his son, Joseph E. Piper and brother John G. Piper. Preceded in death by parents Gertrude F. Piper and Earl Piper; son Rickie Piper; sisters Betty, June, Patsy, and Earline; and brother Marion Piper. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
