Obituary for Rudolf "Rudi" Shoats
A resident of Woodville, MS and a native of Bad Tölz, West Germany died July 31, 2017 at the age of 48. He was employed with Zachary Fire Department and is retired from the US Navy.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 10:00 am until service time at 1:30 pm at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, conducted by Rev. Timmy Straight.
He is survived by 4 daughters: Lauren Shoats, Brenna Shoats, Elizabeth Shoats and Aaron Shoats and 1 son: Andrew Shoats; 1sister, Suzanne Brown; and 1 brother, Phillip Shoats.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Elke and 1 brother Marcel Greger.
Pallbearers will be members of the Zachary Fire Department.
He was a current member of West Feliciana Parish Fire Protection District 1 and Pointe Coupee Fire Department, and past member of Harvey Volunteer Fire Department and Clinton Volunteer Fire Department.
