Obituary for Charles F. Peters
A resident of Baton Rouge and a former resident of Clinton, Charles died on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at The Carpenter House. He was 85 years old. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 9am until Rite of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Burial will be in Booker-Kent Cemetery, Clinton. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Corrie Marie Peters, 3 sons, Donnie Peters and wife, Tracy; Ronnie Peters and wife, Kathy and Dennis Peters. 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Charles was a former member of Clinton Volunteer Fire Department and Clinton Rescue Squad and founding member of Bluff Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
