Obituary for Lionel Millard Olivier Jr.
Lionel Millard Olivier Jr., 61, a resident of Baker, LA, and an employee of the State of Louisiana for over 30 years died on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5pm until 8:30pm, with a 7pm memorial service conducted by Fr. Frank Bass. He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Olivier of Baker; two brothers, Lawrence Olivier and his wife Jeannine of New Orleans; Danny Olivier and his wife Sarah of Denham Springs, LA; nieces and nephews: Caress and Nick Tureau, Cayman and Cruz Tureau, Law and Traci Olivier, Danielle Olivier, Blake and Heather Olivier. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia “Pat” Olivier and his father, Lionel Olivier. Honorary pallbearers will be Law Olivier, Blake Olivier, and Nick Tureau. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He had a deep passion for fishing. If he was not fishing, he enjoyed discussing it and preparing for his next trip. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association of Louisiana, 2424 Edenborn Avenue #660, Metairie, LA 70001.
