Obituary for Michael Ronald Manriquez
Michael Manriquez, a resident of Zachary, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was born in Santa Monica, California in 1943. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a machinist in the 305th Bomber Wing. Michael was a member of the GWRRA (his motorcycle club) and enjoyed many rides with his best riding buddy Ken. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Mary Beth Manriquez; his best four-legged friend "Cooper"; sisters Norma, Gloria, Loretta and Charlotte; brothers Roland, Reuben and Vincent; daughter Denise Chack, sons Rodney Chack and Michael, Phillip, Timothy, Ronald and Robin Manriquez; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Vincent and Mary Manriquez and two brothers, Gilbert and Emory. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary from 9:30am until 10:30am with Mass to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind www.guidedogs.com.
