“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
Lola Cornelia Wilkins, “Corny” went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 73. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Cornelia enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and sitting on the river bank with a fishing pole in her hand, but her greatest enjoyment in life was hanging out with her grandchildren. Family was very important to her and she rarely missed a reunion and always made sure her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews knew they were special to her. As an adult Corny became a caretaker for the elderly and took great pride providing them with comfort in their last days. Her heart was big, and she loved unconditionally and without constraint.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Robyn Stubbs Woolfolk and husband Gordon of Pride, 1 son: Jason Boyce Stubbs and wife Tonya Roberts Stubbs of Central. 3 sisters: Dimple Allen, Lynda Lawlor, and Sylvia Gray. 3 brothers: Archie Wilkins and wife Betty, Alfred Wilkins and wife Linda, and Bill Wilkins and wife Donna Sue. 5 grandchildren: Justin Woolfolk, Derek Woolfolk, Lauralee Woolfolk, Terrell Stubbs and Krystal Stubbs.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William Dempsey Wilkins and Maida Cornelia Wilkins and an infant daughter: Crystal Renea Stubbs.
