Karl Blythe "Bubba"  Chaney
A former District 6 East Feliciana Parish Police Juror with 12 years of service, died Friday, August 15, 2014. He was 52 years old and was a member of Pipefitters Local 198. Bubba was a Safety Manager with CB&I. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Clinton, on Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 5 pm until 8 pm and continues on Monday, August 18, 2014, from 9am until service at 10 am conducted by his brother in law, Pastor Thomas Lane Payne, Jr. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery, Clinton. Bubba is survived by his wife of 25 years, Anita L. Chaney. A daughter, Beth Chaney and a son, Cody Lancon and wife, Morgan. A grandson, Kaleb Jackson Lancon. His mother, Carolyn S. Chaney, siblings, Mickey Singleton and husband, Ralph and Mike Chaney and wife, Leita. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Chaney a sister, Leisa D'ette Chaney, and paternal grandparents Otis "Buck" and Dollye Chaney. Pallbearers will be Dale Alexander, Blake Payne, Steve Hano, David Shaffet, Scott Masterson, Rodney Booker, Robbie Jackson. Honorable Pallbearers will be Raymond Nichols and Jack Blankenship. He was a member of The Rock Church, a lifetime member of Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeder Association and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Special thanks to Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet, Dr. Miletello and the Hematology Clinic, Dr. Russell with Baton Rouge General Radiation Oncology and Dr. Stephen Speeg for all care and support during this time.
