Obituary for Virginia Carol Miller

Virginia Carol Miller, “Carol”, aged 64, died on Friday, July 18, 2014 at her home in Baker, LA. She was known for her CB handle “Blondie.” She was retired, after working for over 30 years for BellSouth. She was born in Hazelhurst, MS. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm, with a 7pm memorial service. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Samuel Anthony Miller; two sons, Anthony Lavon Miller of Jackson, LA; Christopher Lee miller and his wife Amanda of Denham Springs; three sisters, Myra Pringle and her husband Charles of Clinton, LA; Phyllis DeLisle and her husband Craig of Florence, KY; June Farmer and her husband Terry of French Settlement, LA; one brother, Al Chapman and his wife Cindy of Slidell; eight grandchildren: Michael Miller, Dakota Maulden, Blake Miller, Brennon Miller, Alyssa Dees, Makayla Redmond, Serenity Miller, and Scott Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents: Luther Stanley Chapman and Myra Pauline Jones Chapman; and sister, Glenda K. Loneragon. She was a graduate of Baker High School and her hobbies included reading, miscellaneous crafts, and camping.
