Lodie L. Adams, 74, a resident of St. Francisville, LA, died on Friday, December 29, 2017. He worked for 25 years for Georgia-Pacific. There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of St. Francisville from 2pm until memorial service at 4pm in the Fellowship Hall, conducted by Rev. Joel Williams. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Connie D. Adams; two daughters, Beth Adams of Baton Rouge; Angie Claxton and husband Chris of St. Francisville; two sisters: Lou Ann Fuglaar of Pineville, LA; Marilyn Adams of Ellijay, GA; two brothers, Louis Adams and wife Anita of Ellijay, GA; Raymond Adams and wife Cindy of Jasper, GA; six grandchildren: Mark Claxton, Thomas Foster, Adam Foster, Elizabeth Foster, CJ Claxton, and Kristen Claxton; and three great-grandchildren: Lillian Rose Foster, Micah Joel Foster, and Truett Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents Lodie Adams Sr. and Maggie Simpson Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
