Obituary for Curtis Emmitt Whittington Jr.

Curtis Emmitt Whittington, Jr., born October 25, 1966 and passed away on November 15, 2017 at Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans. He is survived by his mother, Vivian Whittington of St. Francisville; two sisters, Pam Knight and her husband Stephen Knight Sr. of Ethel; Wendy Gates and husband Randy Gates of Zachary; nieces Hope Johnson and Dannie Gates; nephews Jonathan Knight, Stephen Knight Jr, and Leland Gates; and a great-niece and numerous great-nephews; and several uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis E. Whittington Sr. Pallbearers will be Stephen Knight Sr., Jonathan Knight, Stephen Knight Jr.; Randy Gates; Leland Gates; and Trey Johnson. There will be a visitation at the Zachary Church of Christ at 3500 39th Street, Zachary, LA on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 11am until funeral services at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Oschner Hospital of New Orleans, the Zachary Church of Christ, or Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
