Obituary for Ellis Veith Rogillio Sr.

Ellis Veith Rogillio Sr., 95, a native of Slaughter, LA and a resident of Clinton, LA, died on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his home. He was self-employed as a carpenter. A private family burial was held, conducted by Rev. Rickie Wilson. He is survived by one daughter, Rita Kilcrease and her husband Jackie of Clinton; two sons: Ellis Veith Rogillio Jr. and his wife Cindi of Centreville, MS; Kohnke Rogillio and his wife Debbie of Norwood; sister Tina Ory of Slaughter; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Rogillio; one daughter, one son-in-law, three grandchildren, one sister, two brothers, and his parents. Pallbearers will be Robby Rogillio, Randy Rogillio, Richard Booth, Kevin Rogillio, Trae Morgan, and Chuck Payne. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellis V. Rogillio Jr., Jackie Kilcrease, and Kohnke Rogillio. He was a veteran of the US Army and fought in WWII.
