Obituary for Edith Ann Davis Boudreaux

Edith Ann Davis Boudreaux, 80, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was retired, after working for 55 years as a hairdresser in Baker, LA. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Zachary from 5pm until 8pm and then on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 9am until funeral services at 10am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Burial will be in Azalea Rest Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Bauer and husband Alvin; Rebecca Brian and husband Tracy; five sons: Danny R. Myers and wife Mello; Michael S. Myers and wife Jeannette; William C. Myers and wife Jill; Jeff Boudreaux and wife Sharon; and Michael Boudreaux; seventeen grandchildren: Cary Myers, Molly Sartin, Paige Fancher, Annie Templet, Ben Myers, Bo Myers, Landon Bauer, Gabi Myers, Brandon Boudreaux, Amber Boudreaux, Bailey Boudreaux, Hannah Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Logan Thompson, Laird Brian, Aubin Brian, and Jude Brian; seven great-grandchildren: Carter Fancher, Clay Fancher, Emery Fancher, Allie Fancher, Mae Magee Sartin, Kylie Brown, and Baby Templet due in August. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Calvin Jude Boudreaux; brothers Samuel Eastham and Jimmy Davis; father Dan W. Davis and mother Edith Inez Davis. She was a graduate of Gibsland High School, class of 1955. She was also a bus driver for the East Baton Rouge School District for ten years.
