The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Aucoin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My dear cousin, you paved a path for all of the Aucoin clan to come behind you. I remember when,as a very young girl, I went to work for the City of Baton Rouge. When they found out my cousin was Richard Aucoin I got a few stares and was treated differently. Richard was known and respected by many people. He was definitely a force to be reckoned with. You were always someone that I looked up to and respected. I will trueIy miss you but I know that you are now with our Heavenly Father and at peace and free of pain. Until we meet again I love you.
