Obituary for Norma Bozeman Johnson

Norma Johnson died on Monday, June 25, 2012 at her home. She was 72 years old, a resident of Clinton, and a native of Winnfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Clinton from 5:00 until 8:00pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 9:00am until service time at 11:00am. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery, Clinton. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Willie E. Johnson, 2 daughters and a son-in-law; Terri Johnson and Stacey Evans & husband Sam of Hammond, LA, 1 sister; Lana Converse of Denver, Colorado, a brother and sister-in-law; Martin Bozeman & wife Donnie of Vivian, brother-in-law; Dick Shark of Broken Arrow, OK, 3 grandchildren; Sarah Evans, Sawyer Evans & Cody Johnson, and very special family friend; Margaret Diamond of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents; Eck & Jewell Bozeman, and sister; Janet Sharp. Pallbearers will be Randie Blanchard, Billy Andrews, Clint Beauchamp, Patrick Matthews, Ikie Roberts, and Mike Vargo. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Dieghton, Barry Phares, and Deacons of Clinton First Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren, to cook, and to work in her garden. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 or Clinton First Baptist Church Deacon's Fund, P.O. Box 552, Clinton, LA 70722.
