Condolence: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Anders and Andi,
I wanted to express my concern and sympathy for your family. I was Tyler's high school English teacher at Centreville Academy. I genuinely enjoyed having Tyler as a student. He was very bright and so full of personality. When Tyler was a senior, my stepson was also and played basketball for ASC. My daughter was a cheerleader there at the time. I went to the ASC-CA basketball game at ASC and of course, because of my children, sat on the ASC side. Tyler had a dry erase board that he kept writing things on like, "Go Tigers!" However, when he spotted me sitting on the ASC side, he held it up to show me where he had written something like (I wish I could remember exactly) "Mrs. Kelly is a traitor." It was really cute and funny, I thought. Even after Tyler graduated, no matter where I ran into him at, he always made it a point to speak and give me a hug. Tyler will be greatly missed by many, many people. He was a fine young man.
